We are happy to announce 1st Church will host a four-part lecture series to examine how the foundations of Christianity impacted the genesis of the United States Constitution. “The lecture series transcends religion,” stated Pastor Loomis, “It impacts the very culture of our society.” The series will be held on four Saturday afternoons, February 16, and March 2, 16 and 23 in 2019.
 
The Saturday afternoon lecture series “The Christian Foundation of America’s Political Philosophy” will decipher the journey as presented by the Honorable Judge Peter Bell.
 

Our sessions will include –

February 16 – “An Historical Perspective: Creation to Martin Luther.”
March 2  –  “Martin Luther to 1787.”
March 16 –  “The United States Constitution.”
March 23 – “The United States of America, 1788 to the Present.”
 
Each of the Saturday sessions will be held in the Bryant Life Center from 12 pm to 4 pm. The cost for the series is $10 per session or $30 for all four lectures. Students receive a 50% discount.
